One or more short quotes from
letter of recommendation by the above supervisor
Gina
is by far one of the top teachers our school has
known.
She is also very much involved in our after schools
activity program and leads a Saturday bicycle club
for a group of our middle school students.
Gina's teaching
has helped students to discover a love for the
sciences and I'm certain many of these kids will
remember her for rest of their lives. I don't believe
you can hire a better teacher than Gina. She has
told me of his plans to experience a new school
and country. We hate to loose her but wish her
the best in this new
pursuits.

One or more short quotes from
letter of recommendation by the above supervisor
It
has been my pleasure to know and work with Gina.
Her commitment to her profession is an inspiration
to
us all. Gina motivates
students to work to their potential and voluntarily
acts as personal mentor to many of our high school
students that seem to naturally gravitate to her.
Gina regularly goes beyond my greatest expectations.
Gina
is a driving force on our faculty. She contributes
to the success and positive parent and community
perception of our school in many ways.
I
highly recommend Gina as she is one of the most
outstanding
teachers you will have the privilege to know
and work with.

In
addition to the above two positions, I have also
received two awards for outstanding contribution
to the State of California, Child's' Science Program.
I am credited with creating and implementing a State-wide
curriculum adopted by all schools in the California
State School System. The curriculum spans an entire
school year and is tailored to be implemented in
grades 1-12.
I am also responsible for creating a the curriculum for
San Diego city schools that combines physics and the World Cup
of Sailing.
I enjoy creating curriculum and have a strong background in curriculum
development. I have lead many workshops in curriculum development
at my current school and as a guest speaker at various schools.

Educational Philosophy or Personal Statement
|
|
| |
I
am committed to teaching though it was not my
first career.
After achieving my goal to become a chemist II
gradually grew disenchanted with the ups and
downs associated
with the corporate lifestyle. I
discovered teaching some years ago and find it
to be a profession
alive with challenges, intrinsic satisfaction
and constant changes. And much to my liking,
it is
a profession devoid of
the hassles
associated with corporate life
Encouragement,
rather than criticism, gives my students motivation
to keep trying and the needed sense of security
to express ideas and ask questions. I do believe
that school should be where students not only
learn a subject the but also learn about themselves.
Science, chemistry, physics and calculus can be creative and inspiring to students
when presented from a perspective of creativity.
