Sound Issues
Sound can take from 10 seconds to 1 minute to start
and is affected by
slow connection speeds
or
a reduction
in available bandwidth from your internet during peak
usage times. Be sure to click in the middle of the start-button two times
to start the recording. Repeating the double clicking can have a positive
effect on the start of the recording.
Intermittent speech during playback is caused by slow connection speeds or the fact that other people are sharing your network. Intermittent sound can also be caused by reduced bandwidth during the peak usage hours of your internet provider's servers. All this can be frustrating and we wish there was a way around it. Should you be experiencing intermittent speech during playback you only need wait until the entire recording has played and then click the play button again and the sound will play without interruption from your hard drive.
No sound at all can be caused by your computer's sound being in the off position or the fact that the candidate has an error in their recording. We do review recordings and advise candidates if a problem exists.
Reproducing sound on the internet can be affected by many conditions beyond our control. Simply returning at a different time of day when fewer users are on line can produce markedly improved results.

Page Load and Resume Load Speed
Depending
on the speed of your connection pages may load fast or slow. Please
be
patient and understand that photos and sound can be bandwidth intensive.
Depending on the time of day you will note that the site performs differently.
This is due to the number of users sharing your bandwidth at any given
time. Should you experience slow page load please log off and try again
at a later time when you are less likely to be sharing your connection
with other users.
3. Help with obtaining a user
name and password
To insure only school directors review candidates files
we have incorporated a simple verification process.
To verify your position as school director we ask that you supply your phone
number at school and also the URL of your school web site. Please open your
school web site and copy and paste the URL of the homepage into the space provided
on the sing-up form. For example: (www.whatever
is in the display.com). We will contact you.
4. Teachers' Transcripts and Credentials
We do not take possession of teacher's documents. We advise teachers that if they do not alredy have their documents in hand they should apply immediately for sealed, official copies of their college transcripts and teaching credential. We also advise that teachers keep these documents in the original sealed envelopes they arrive in and be prepared to forward them by DHL or another courier service upon request. It has been explained that failure to have these documents in order and ready to ship may result in loosing a job offer to another candidate who is prepared.
